My footsteps echo throughout the narrow passage, each step doubling and tripling as I make my way from one end to the other.
Recently I had a conversation with a veteran of the construction industry. He told me that for every skyscraper built a number of lives are lost and that only the deaths that occur outside the construction site's boundaries ever make the news. He continued that this building in particular was quite famous for its ghosts.
